Website is Back Online
Due some DNS issue the Domain millioneurohomepage.tv redirected to some other Website.
As I saw it I immediately talked to my hosting company but they couldn't really help me because they couldn't do anything on the DNS system. So they had to contact some other Datacenter I quess to get the problem solved.
I am really sorry for this problem and I hope such problems won't occur again.

I'm still alive
Just want to let you know that I'm still alive. I'll continue writing Blog posts next week! The press takes my whole time, I got like 2 requests daily which is really nice but also takes a lot of time and energy.

100 Accounts registered
There are now 100 accounts registered! I am really glad that my work paid off and I didn't waste my time.
Pixes sales are going slow but still selling some. To be honest I also didn't have the time to care about the site in the last few days but now the stress is over! I still haven't got any suggestions about what else to write on this blog. If you got any contact me

40.000 mark passed!
Today the 40.000 pixel mark got passed! Horay!
If I look in the past this seemed nearly impossible but due the media attention this project gained a lot customers got attracted. By the way RTL (german tv channel) declined the interview about this website because they said it's nothing spectacular. Well that was 20.000 pixels in the past! Maybe they will call again ;) But I think that this website will get more attention with more pixel sales so it's on a good track with 40.000 sold pixels!

Going near 40.000
Today 900 pixels got sold which means that there are 39.800 pixels taken now!
The last days pixel sales weren't going that good like before but I think it's almost impossible to keep up the average of more than 1500 pixels per day. Whatever it's still going nice and I actually can't complain about it :P

An interview by phone
Today I gave an interview to an internet radio station through phone. It was the first one I gave through a phone call! And of course some breakdowns happened. First of all right before the interview started my phone battery went empty and I had to recharge it which delayed the interview by some minutes. Secondly my phone is just crap, I could hardly understand anything which made me kinda nervous and since my native language is german and I held the interview in English it was even harder. That actually didn't help against my nervousness - It got worse. But at the end I think I did pretty well. The moderator was really cool and I think he also felt my nervousness so he helped me out a bit by asking a lot of easy questions. Maybe I can put the interview online just have to ask for the mp3 file or however they save it.
I hope there will be more interviews in the next days. And if I ever have one by phone again I'll buy a new one with endless battery :-P

Pixel report the seventh
I hope you had a good weekend.
Today I sold 200 pixels! Not that much but still fine.
It's really hectically here, school began again and we write a lot of exams in the next days this is why I can't write a report every day. I tried my best but I quess it's ok if I write one every few days. Pixels still get approved within 24 hours (on weekends it can take up to 48). I hope you don't kill me for that ;)

Pixel report the sixth
Sorry that I didn't write yesterday but I had a school trip and no internet at all.
Well you didn't miss much because not a single pixel got sold, probably because it is weekend again.
The next report will be on Monday the 18. January because I doubt that I'll sell any pixels on Sunday. In case anybody buys any pixels I'll write a report of course.

Pixel report the fifth
Already the fifth pixel report! I have to admit that it's really annoying to write the reports because I'm really lazy sometimes :) But well that's my job and I promised to write such a report daily so there we go!
1300 Pixels got sold today! And come on I need some suggestions about what else I should write in the pixel report except how many pixels got sold. But i really don't know in what my visitors could be interested in :(

Pixel report the fourth
Sorry I had absolutely no time today to approve any pixels. Wednesday is always a bit stressful. I'll edit this Blog post tomorrow and write in how many pixels got bought.

Pixel report the third - 30.000 mark passed
Well, here you go with the third pixel report! Have fun reading ;)
Today was a really really good day! I sold 5.400 pixels! You may think that a lot of people purchased them but you are wrong. I sold 4900 pixels which definately is the highest amount yet to one single customer. You can take a look at it on the front page - it's not hard to see :)
The other 500 pixels I sold to 2 customers. One purchased 400 pixels and the other 100 pixels.
That's the day with the most pixel sales yet and it's not even over - still 6 hours left on my clock. I will edit this post when more pixels get sold.

Pixel report the second
The weekend really affects the pixel sales.
Today I sold 1300 pixels. 600 to go to pass the 30.000 !
I really don't know what else to write in the pixel report to make it readable if you got suggestions email me. Actually I had my first school day in 2010 and I was so damn tired because my whole sleep-wake rhythm changed in the holidays to around 6 hours in front which means I go to bed later and sleep till afternoon. Not possible anymore, too bad.
It's also really cold in germany we got around -4 degrees and a lot of snow. Here a little weather report. But I am still able to drive around with my car here so it's ok ;)

Pixel report
As promised here is the daily pixel report.
Only 200 pixels got sold but I quess it's because nobody works on weekends.
Actually that gave me some "free time" to go ice-skating and now everything hurts - looks like I'm not that good in ice-skating ;)

A lot of work / more press / pixel sales
Due the high sales of pixels I lately got a lot of work and I'm also a bit stressed so excuse me if pixel approvements can take up to 48h trying my best. Lately the press really got an eye on this project which means I got a lot of requests for interviews and so on. Actually that's a good point because the site will get even more popular if it's in TV and newspaper etc.
As you can see the 30.000 mark is almost passed. Probably it's already passed but I didn't have time to approve any sales today so I'll do it tomorrow or on monday.
From now on I'll write a blog post that contains information about the sold pixels every day!

Large amount of Pixels + more visitors
Today I sold another 1600 ( 40x40 ) Pixels. It's not a new record but in my opinion still worth to mention.
Pixel sales almost doubled in the last few days. Also the visitors increased a lot which have a positive effect on the Alexa Rank. I think if the success keeps going on like this it will be a huge profit for the pixel owners and of course also for me ;).

Pagerank + Pixel sales
The new year begins fine. The Pagerank of MillionEuroHomepage.tv is 2 now and the blog got a pagerank of 3! If you don't know the for what the pagerank is for: The Pagerank shows the "importance" of a website. As higher the Pagerank as higher you get ranked on google. If you want to read more click here.
The pixel sales are also going great. Especially smaller websites bought a lot of 10x10 blocks and if I look into the site statistics I see an average of ~300 clicks on every 10x10 block which probably already pays off for them.

Alive and kicking again - 2% done!
Ok, I'm almost healthy again. I approved all the pixels which were waiting so long - thanks for the patience. As you can see the 20.000 mark got passed which means there are around 2% of the available pixels sold!

Sorry illness
Hi just a short post to let you know that I'm ill (glandular fever).

Some changes / Pixel sales and the first case study
To make the website more clearly I removed the Terms & Conditions from the navigation bar and included them into "Buy Pixels". I also received the first case study from a pixel owner for which I'm really thankful and added it to the navigation bar. If I receive more case studies I'll add them there too.
The pixel sales are also going great. I sold more than 6500 pixels within one week that was the week with the most sales till now. BC Poker also purchased the highest amount of pixels by now which is 1600. I want to say thanks to all customers who supported me by purchasing pixels.

A way to talk and discuss
I thought about a way to discuss and the first idea was a "Facebook Page". I quess that's the best way because almost everybody got a Facebook account and it's kinda easy to post a question on the pinboard and simple to discuss by opening a discussion on the discussion board.

10.000 Pixels sold - 1% done :-)
Today I sold the last pixels which were required to pass the 10.000 Pixel mark. It sounds like a great success and it also feels like one but if you see it mathematically it's only 1% of the goal. I still think 1% isn't too bad in those dimensions and want to thank every single customer for buying. Thanks.
I also want to thank the people who helped me going so far.

Woooohooo over 8000 pixels sold!
The last days I sold a lot of 10x10 pixel blocks but there were also some customers which bought a larger amount of pixels.
I really like that there are a lot of sites with different themes purchasing pixels. The combination of different themes and pictures and all this will make the site unique even if the idea with the pixels is old. I really hope to see some more shrill/funny and ofcourse meaningful pictures in the future.
I will also try to write a bit more on this blog in the next few weeks/months/years? who knows ;)

1900 Pixels sold! - 5400 in total now
Since the 11.11.2009 I sold another 1900 pixels which is a real success!
After the press release got submitted to some sites there was a huge increase of pixel sales. I sold 1300 pixels over the weekend which I approved today. I never expected so many buyer over the weekend.
I also improved the customers interface which looks pretty lucid now.
Except the sells there is nothing else to talk about have a nice week.

Lets attract attention - and tell you about my life ;)
Today the press release writer which I hired finished his work. I took a look at the release and I can't say anything else than: Good Job!
The Press release will be submitted by the writer to several editorial offices which will take a look at it and hopefully write an article about this website. I am confident that this website will be in some newspaper or online magazine soon.
Since this whole blog is about Pixels and new sells I will give you a short insight of my day.
I woke up at 6:30am which is way too early for me. After a short look on the traffic statistic of the website I went to the bath and took a shower for almost 30 minutes otherwise I can't be awake at such a time.
After a short breakfast I ran out to my car and drove to my school with the average speed of 80mph (60mph are allowed) otherwise I would have been too late.
When I arrived I saw that the first lesson got cancelled because the teacher is ill - fine I could have slept 1 hour more!
After 7 hours of school I drove back home , started my pc and checked my mails - 1827 spam mails in my normal folder and around 20 mails in the normal folder. Yes, the press release is finished! I took a look at it and had a talk with the writer to correct some small things. After that I learned some french which is the most complicated language ever if you ask me.. after like 2 hours of learning I still had no idea about it and closed my french book. I saw that my café in "Café World" ( facebook app) got a bad reputation and cooked some "home style pot roast" or however it's called. I met some friends and watched some TV. In the afternoon I visited another friend and congratulated him to his Birthday on the way back home some guy thought he have to drive with 20mph while there are 60 allowed... I overtook him and then he accelerated to overtake me in a bend and we almost crashed.. I actually didn't get the sense why he drove that slow before and speeds after I overtook him but well, god knows. And now I'm kinda tired and going to sleep otherwise I have to shower more than 30 minutes tomorrow ;)

The largest sale yet - 900 pixels sold
Today a company named clickconsult.com bought the highest amount of pixels which is 900 yet.
It's really cool that customers see such a high potential in this site even if there are like thousands of similar sites.
I want to give a special thanks to that company.

Sold another 400 pixels
During the last days I sold another 400 pixels.
There are also good news about the press. I finished the press release and it already got accepted and published by some sites. I also hired a professional writer for a better press release because I'm pretty good in english but it's not my mother tonque so I quess a professional press writer will do the job better than me ;-)
Due the press releases which got published the daily unique visitors and also the clicks on the banners increased a lot.

Sold 400 Pixels today - 2x 200 pixels
Yes, there are now 1800 pixels taken. I think that's a great success to sell 1800 pixels within 10 days. Also the unique visitors count have increased to an average of 400 per day and the banners got nearly 1500 clicks together. I think that's just great. The bad thing is that the press didn't give any answer. I think I have to work on a press release instead of e-mailing people. I will work on one during the week.

1000 Pixels mark passed
Today the 28 october 2009 I sold another 200 pixels - 1000 pixels are sold now!
I am glad that people belive in this project and buy pixels that early.
I've written several e-mail's to the press with the hope to attract attention.

I can't belive it!
I just came home and checked my paypal and I saw a transaction of 800€! Quess what? After less then 24hours the first 800 pixels got sold to a site named WiiLive, congratulations.
I never thought that I would sell any Pixels within the first week but I am glad that my Site already got discovered!

Hey to those who already discovered the site.
My name is Marc and I was just searching around if there is already a millioneurohomepage but I couldn't find one which kinda suprised me after the success of Alex Tew with his milliondollarhomepage (there you go with your credits Alex ;) )
